El Salvador seeks to issue Bitcoin investment bonds

The government of El Salvador has presented a bill aimed at regulating Bitcoin bond offering for congressional approval. President Nayib Bukele announced the idea of so-called “volcano bonds” a year ago, and his New Ideas party currently holds a majority in the legislature.
