US Justice Dept considers criminal charges against Binance, founder CZ
U.S. Department of Justice prosecutors is mulling over filing criminal charges against crypto exchange Binance and individual executives, including founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao. According to the latest reports, the prosecutors discovered inconsistencies in the crypto exchange’s compliance program. The investigation that started in 2018 is primarily focused on U.S. anti-money laundering laws and sanctions, as per a Reuters report.
